Kickstart your fitness journey by setting specific, visualised goals and developing a comprehensive plan, potentially with professional guidance encompassing training, nutrition, and supplements. Consistency is crucial for long-term success; avoid burnout by gradually integrating fitness into your routine and persevering through setbacks.
- Define clear fitness goals and create a structured plan, seeking expert help if needed, to ensure a holistic approach to training and nutrition.
- Prioritise consistency over intensity to prevent burnout and build sustainable habits, viewing fitness as a long-term commitment integrated into your daily life.

Set goals…
Be specific about what you want to achieve, write your goals down. Visualize yourself and how you will feel after getting there. Then set the wheels in motion – push yourself to achieve them! Live by them every day, remember what you want to achieve and don’t give up.
Develop a plan…
You may have the knowledge and resources to develop a plan on your own, if not seek out a professional with experience to help you put a plan together for you to achieve your goals. This may involve training, nutrition & supplements- not just exercise. You need to adapt a holistic view about your training program and not be afraid of looking for help – even the best bodies and athletes in the world all have trainers and coaches.
Stick with it!
Consistency is key. This time of year the gyms are packed with New Year’s resolutions followers, unfortunately most of them don’t make it past 3 months due to unrealistic expectations and lack of perseverance. Results don’t happen overnight, it’s something you have to be prepared for the long haul. Starting too much too soon will just lead to burnout and your body’s inability to recover. Learn to factor it in your daily routine, like brushing your teeth. If you miss a workout or mess up on your eating, don’t give up or go on a binge, get back on track!
