Ingredients

⅓ cup oat flour

¼ cup brown sugar

2 Tbsp Cacao

2 scoops formulite chocolate hazelnut tub

50g butter

2 Tbsp Peanut Butter

1 tsp vanilla

2 eggs

1 formulite choc crisp protein bar

Method

  • 1 Combine the butter and peanut butter in a small microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30s increments until melted. Whisk to combine and then whisk in the vanilla and eggs. Set aside.
  • 2 Chop the formulite bar: roughly dice half of the bar, and slice the remaining half of the bar into 6 pieces.
  • 3 In a large mixing bowl combine the oat flour, brown sugar, cacao and protein powder. Make a well in the centre and pour in the butter mixture.
  • 4 Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and then fold in the diced formulite bar. The mixture will be quite thick and wet. Refrigerate for 30mins.
  • 5 Meanwhile preheat the oven to 160C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • 6 Form the mixture into 6 even balls and place on the baking tray at least 1 inch apart. Bake for 20-25mins. Remove from the oven and immediately press a slice of the formulite bar into the top of each cookie. Allow to cool completely before eating!
